Fiesta Candy Cane Tablescape

I'm joining Chari at Happy To Design for her weekly party
Sunday Favorites.  This tablescape originally appeared on
The Little Round Table in December of 2009.

The Peppermint Fiesta plates just plain make me smile!  They create their own holiday atmosphere and inspired the other elements in this tablescape.  Shown here with White Fiesta dinner and salad plates, Scarlet Fiesta berry bowls.  The flatware is Deauville, the glassware, candy cane bowls and placemats are from Pier 1.  Napkin rings and place card holders are from Michael's.  The crystal candle holders came from Home Goods and the napkins from Tuesday morning.  The centerpiece Crate and Barrel signature ornament holder can be used with any ornaments depending on the colorway you are using.  The $10 tablecloth from Home Goods is a mainstay in my linen closet, here it is shown with some peppermint ribbons.

Thanks for stopping by The Little Round Table!
Happy Holidays!!

  4. Oh Candy! You know how I love those peppermint plates, and you have showcased them in a truly magnificent manner! The centerpiece is just super, and the red swirls on the glasses, placemats and accessories tie it all together beautifully.

  5. The plates are adorable and I love how you put it all together.

  6. Just beautiful - perfect for Christmas Eve or Christmas breakfast with mint flavored cocoa.

I'm interested in the ornament hanging display - can you tell me where you got it?

  7. Thanks for all the lovely did turn out looking almost good enough to eat!!

I appreciate all your very nice compliments, it's nice to find such kindred souls!

Bellen - The centerpiece came from Crate and Barrel online about a month ago. I just looked it up so I could send you a link and they must be sold out, since it has been removed from the website. If you have a C&B nearby I'd check with them. Since we moved the nearest one to me is about an hour's drive, so I haven't been there lately. As I understand it, they have "big" ones set up as store displays. I haven't seen them so I don't know how "big" big is???

Thanks again, grab a peppermint stick and swirl it in the hot chocolate! Yum!!!!

  8. I love love love this tablesetting. Red and white is my favorite and you mastered the candy cane theme! Just beautiful!! Hoping your holiday season is wonderful. Miss Bloomers/Sonia

  15. Hi Margo -

Thanks for stopping by and I'm glad you found some things of interest. The Peppermint Fiesta (there are two versions) was available through the Betty Crocker catalog around 2005ish (with green/red/white)and from the Bon Ton stores with just the red and white.
