I'll Be On Cloud Nine, If You'll Be My Valentine

These are three of the vintage Hummels circa 1950 from my collection.

"The Postman" has a special Valentine just for you!

"The Adoration"
 common along country roads

"Stormy Weather"
so appropriate for the monsoon rains we've had for the last few weeks

  1. Beautiful Hummels! I always wondered if you had of these from your time in Germany. I don't think I've ever seen the Adoration scene before...so evocative of the countryside!

  5. You have the classic Hummels that I love. My in-laws had a flower shop in downtown San Francisco for 40 years and sold Hummels too. My favorites were always the little postman and the couple under the umbrella!

  16. What a wonderful way to display a hummel... my mother has so many, some small, some very large, and others that are even bigger.. gosh knows how many she has.. My mother is German so you can imagine how many she has.. my Oma and my mother were Hummel fanatics.. Maybe one day I'll have them in my home.. One can only hope.. How creative with the feathers around the postman.. Thank you for the memories..
