Red Leaves In The Fall

I'm reposting a tablescape from the Fall of 2009 for today's
Rednesday over at It's A Very Cherry World. Check out all the pretty RED
from other participants.

Red Leaves In The Fall - This is a vintage California Hand Prints cloth shown with Pearl Gray, Chocolate and Scarlet Post 86 Fiesta. The vase is the Millennium III also in Pearl Gray and the center bowl is Fiestaware 2000.

Thanks for stopping by for another Rednesday!

  7. I just love your pretty tablesettings. When you say, handprint tablecloth - do you mean someone hand printed the colors onto the cloth?

  8. Oh how lovely! I especially loved the gorgeous red roses! One of my favorite and practical ways to save money was to pick the roses from my back yard to grace a table as lovely d├ęcor accessories, just like this. And don't they look wonderful! :)

  9. Wow! This is beautiful!! Everything is so perfect!! Where in the world did you find your napkin holders? I am just going crazy over them! Beautiful, beautiful tablescape!!

  10. OOOOHHHH...red and brown..love it. Those napkin rings are too cute!

  11. Thank you all for coming by to see this tablescape. Love this cloth and need to pull it out for another take on its pretty colors. That will probably be in early November that this one reappears!

Patti - in this case "California Hand Prints (aka Handprints) refers to the name of a company, but yes some of these were "hand printed" .... similar to the process of hand printed wallpaper, where one color is applied, dried and then the next color is screen printed onto the fabric. Many cloths were also mass printed by a mechanized process.

April - I got the teacup napkin rings off the web ..... let me see if I can find you a link.
I couldn't find them, but will come back and post when I do find a link for you!

Thank you all again for your lovely comments!
