Grace Patricia Kelly Table

Today's inspiration came from the vintage tablecloth designed by Grace Patricia Kelly, the film actress and Princess of Monaco.  She lived in Paris in the later years of her life and loved arranging dried flowers, which were the basis for some of the first "celebrity" endorsed products. You can read more about how this line of linens from Springmaid came about HERE

More information on the details of this tablescape at the end of this post.

  5. What pretty refreshing springy colors. I am soooo ready for spring here. I adore the tablecloth. That pierced salad plate is just fantastic and layers so nicely over the larger one.

Your kitchen is always so lovely and I love how you decorate the island behind it to go with the table. Always fun to visit here.

  15. I may not have commented on your tables before and if that's the case then I apologize profusly because your tables are one of the highlights of my week. Your blog is amoung my top ten favorite. The color and whimsy is so happy and refreshing at a time in my life (and I am sure others as well) when it is much needed.

I love the crochet on the napkins and hope that you take pain staking care to make it last ( I crochet so I feel as though I have a vested interest in all things crochet).

I also covet your kitchen and adore the tablecloth in this table-scape. Love the bright colors on a black background.

PLEASE, please, please, continue to share your talent with us.

  28. Hello Candy,
I am amazed about that tablecloth from Grace Kelly. Really royal combination. Black is always a dramatic background and the dishes pop really on it. Your talent for combining nice things to a gorgeous vignette is stunning.
